As I left, Jimmy Savile came up to me. 'Your TV shows are BRILLIANT!' he exclaimed.

'And as I've been in the telly business for 50 years, you can take that as an informed view.'

I've always loved Jimmy Savile.

    Funny how many around this whole Savile thing "forgot" & "heard just a rumour" and didn't stand back and ask any questions. Piers Morgan even has/had the audacity to call himself a journalist!
    Probably busy listening to some celebrity phone messages or those of a young girl somewhere in trouble.
