Yesterday, News of the World film critic Robbie Collin compiled a list of people who he thought might take over from Jonathan Ross on Film 2010. He included Charlie Brooker:

    No idea who Kermode is but everyone who's anyone (...can't believe I just used that phrase) is crying out for him to take the film show, so I await his appointment with mild, if not tepid, anticipation.
