5CC has an excellent post entitled The tabloids and right wing extremism which provides further evidence of said extremists using misleading, scaremongering tabloid headlines for their own ends.

    And (on the same theme - it goes to show how relentless tabloids are on the issue of immigartion) you may also be interested in today's Daily Mail piece by Ms Sargeant...

    It contains the following gems:
    1) even teenage hoodies are the immigrants' fault;
    2) blatantly wrong figures given. Anything as long as the idea that immigration= bad is bigged up.
