Bunglawala apologies round-up

The Mail on Sunday has apologised to Inayat Bunglawala for the misleading article it wrote about him four months ago, after he stabbed an intruder in his home in self-defence. No Tony Martin-type defending of the home owner for (the Muslim) Bunglawala. Oh no:
On March 15 we suggested that Inayat Bunglawala’s stabbing an intruder at his home questioned his suitability as a Government adviser on terrorism.

In fact Mr Bunglawala acted entirely in self-defence and no charges were brought against him.

Also, Mr Bunglawala does not support Al Qaeda or Abu Qatada as the article may have suggested.

We apologise to Mr Bunglawala for the distress caused and have agreed to pay him damages.
In December 2008, the Express paid Bunglawala £45,000 in damages and apologised for another false story.

  1. Clearly he's not a real Muslim. Given that as we know all Muslims are terrorists, they would never need to resort to merely stabbing an intruder, they'd blow him up with a dirty bomb or something...
